My debut novel Ghosts and Orchids is out!
I am extremely humbled by all of your love and support. It is both terrifying and thrilling to pour your heart and soul into your art and then send it out into the world. She’s not perfect, but she’s mine (and I hope you’ll like her). 
Filled with magical realism and nods to Jane Eyre and Beloved, Ghosts and Orchids follows Denver Morris, a disillusioned Filipina American writer with a broken past from Florida to North Carolina. Propelled by the damning yet radiant apparition of the man in white—the physical manifestation of her guilt and regret—she finds herself in a small mountain town that seems designed to absolve and heal her. Yet as the days pass and begin to run into one another like a brook, all but washing away the traces of the life she left behind, it becomes apparent that Preservation possesses more than a few secrets of its own. Denver must confront the literal and figurative ghosts of her past and those of the town in order to right the injustices inflicted upon not only her but countless others and to finally give voice to the silenced.
